Jamie W. Tidwell
Jamie W. Tidwell, MHA, C-TAGME, currently serves as Medical Education Coordinator in the Office of Medical Education at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. She is certified by the Training Administrators of Graduate Medical Education (TAGME) and holds a graduate degree in Healthcare Administration along with an undergraduate degree in Education, both from the University of Memphis in Memphis, TN. She joined the GME community in 2010 as a coordinator of multiple fellowship programs at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, later moving on to serve as a fellowship coordinator at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Her professional activities include active membership in the Association of Pediatric Program Directors (APPD) and the Association for Hospital Medical Education (AHME) and past membership on the TAGME Outcomes Committee. She is currently participating as a mentor in the APPD’s mentoring program. She is slated to present on the topic of Resident Engagement and Well-being at both the ACGME and AHME National Conferences in spring 2018. She has previously presented table talks at both the 2016 and 2017 spring conferences of the APPD and was the focus of APPD coorCOM’s “Coordinator Spotlight” in March 2017. Her current areas of interest include assessment and evaluation, engagement, and resident well-being. She is grateful to be a part of the amazing OME team at JHACH.
