Gwen joined Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital (JHACH) as the program administrator in 2015. She facilitates administrative and executive duties for residency program for medical school candidates for residency program at JHACH. She also manages the application process for medical students and undergraduates applying for elective rotations.

Gwen moved from Memphis to the Tampa area in 2012, after working for 15 years as director of community, media and governmental relations with the National Civil Rights Museum, site of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Previously, she served as associate director of community relations Metropolitan Ministries in Tampa, Florida and performed community outreach and media relations.

Gwen has a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from Jackson State University, Jackson, MS.
