Welcome to our Office of Medical Education website. We invite you to explore our educational programs based at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida. Our programs are dedicated to innovative education that prepares students, residents and fellows to be leaders in pediatric health care.
Designing new approaches to post-graduate medical education was an essential early goal when All Children’s Hospital became a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine in 2011. Faculty at ACH JHM and at Johns Hopkins shared their creative vision to shape a new program and curriculum for pediatric residents that allowed for early career discussions while also providing an innovative curriculum focusing on leadership, research, individualized medicine, continuous quality improvement and other key topics.
All Children’s Hospital was established in 1926 and has long been a leader in children’s health care in Florida. The new 259-bed free-standing children’s hospital and adjoining outpatient center opened in 2010, with nearly 1 million square feet of space and state-of-the-art facilities and technology. Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital provides care for children from throughout the state of Florida as well as a growing number of international patients.
We encourage you to explore our pediatric residency program, apply through ERAS for the NRMP match, and visit us to learn more about our program and the St. Petersburg/Tampa Bay area along Florida’s Gulf Coast.
